Add a basket of plastic lids to your block center. How do your kids use them in their block creations?

Kids can find matching lids, matching colors or the lids can make great little containers for a sensory bin filled with rice, sand, beans, or corn. I found that the kitchen is more of a horizontal-surface cleaning environment, while the bath is more of a vertical-surface environment. This is important, because a Trigger Sprayer(KEXON) interacts differently with the hand depending on the type of surface to be cleaned. Some bottles feature a protruding flange in the back of the spray head that asks users to carry the weight on the back of the hand. Others expect the bulk of the weight to be carried in the grip, where the fingers and palm meet the bottle neck.

For instance, in spraying a horizontal surface like a kitchen counter, the nozzle must pivot down. To achieve this angle, the weight of the bottle must be swung like a pendulum, up and away. I found that weight on the back of the hand, via the flange, allows users’ fingers more freedom to pull the bottle back and point it down without straining the wrist.

In spraying a vertical surface like a shower stall in the bathroom, the opposite seems to be true. Pointing the nozzle upward requires pressure on the palm of the hand against the rear neck of the bottle. Deep contours in the forward neck seem to help consumers carry the weight on the gripping fingers best; a few users also appreciated the texture and contours on the back of some bottle necks.

But, it’s important to point out that this configuration makes spraying a horizontal surface more difficult, because fingers must not only carry and swing the weight but also activate the trigger. And, in the same way, asking the weight to be placed on the back of the hand when spraying a vertical surface appears less effective, since the palm is best suited to swing the bottle upward.

Why is any of this important? Because a key learning is that, as a trigger sprayer configuration takes on more locations, tasks and surfaces, it may not perform optimally in each. This awareness is compounded by a few other situational differences regarding the spray action itself.

Producing Hot-Fill PE Bottles

This improvement in PE’s properties, thanks to "After Crystallization", is utilized in order to produce Hot-Fill PE Bottle(KEXON). The performs are here, in contrast to the standard stretch blow molding process, not blown into a cold mould, but into one heated up to as much as 160°C.

To enable the bottles to be removed from the hot moulds however, they have to be cooled. For this purpose, compressed air is blown through bores in the tubular-shaped Stretching Rod, which cools the bottle from the inside known as a flushing-air process.

The heating time for the preforms is longer, since hot-fill PE bottles are always manufactured from heavy preforms, so as to obtain increased stability.

In the heat-set process, the bottle’s characteristics depend even more closely on the process settings and the choice of preform than is the case in the standard process. In particular, the temperature of the product during filling and the time during which this temperature has to be maintained, are crucial factors. The higher the thermal stress, the higher the degree of crystallinity required. In order to obtain a very high degree of crystallinity, a long crystallization time in the blowing mold is needed. Consequently, the more crystallinity is required, the lower the station’s output will be.

The container's body side wall is rigidized against radical and longitudinal vacuum distribution so that paper labels can be applied to the container. In addition, the amorphous threaded mouth of the container is rigidized by gussets molded into the container at the junction of the mouth and body portion of the container to resist deformation when the container is capped. Most commercial polypropylene is isotactic and has an intermediate level of crystallinity between that of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Polypropylene is normally tough and flexible, especially when copolymerized with ethylene. This allows polypropylene to be used as an engineering plastic, competing with materials such as ABS. Polypropylene is reasonably economical, and can be made translucent when uncolored but is not as readily made transparent as polystyrene, acrylic, or certain other plastics. It is often opaque or colored using pigments. Polypropylene has good resistance to fatigue.

The melt flow rate (MFR) or melt flow index (MFI) is a measure of molecular weight of polypropylene. The measure helps to determine how easily the molten raw material will flow during processing. Polypropylene with higher MFR will fill the plastic mold more easily during the injection or blow-molding production process. As the melt flow increases, however, some physical properties, like impact strength, will decrease.

There are three general types of polypropylene: homopolymer, random copolymer, and block copolymer. The comonomer used is typically ethylene. Ethylene-propylene rubber or EPDM added to polypropylene homopolymer increases its low temperature impact strength. Randomly polymerized ethylene monomer added to polypropylene homopolymer decreases the polymer crystallinity and makes the polymer more transparent.
